Well it's been a while - Hannah and I are now married and we are proud to be a husband and wife team! Here's some video footage I shot at a wedding in Portland, OR on September 10, 2011. I had a lot of fun working with David and Kelly, they blocked off their entire street which made their wedding unique in having a block party feel to it. The last hour of their wedding was around a 128 bpm electronic music set which the crowd absolutely loved and that kind of energy can't be expressed in words - just one of those things that you had to be present to experience for yourself and unfortunately I didn't get much footage from that last hour since I was having so much fun as a DJ!

Had the pleasure of providing sound and entertainment for a wedding yesterday on August 20th, 2011 at A Sanctuary at Washburn Heights in Brownsville, OR for Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Kelsey Horn. The ceremony and reception were both amazing and the weather was perfect, had a chance to use our new wireless lapel system and everyone had fun at the right moments along with tears at the right moments - especially during Kelsey's vows to Brian, all the special dances with family and Kelsey's father made a slideshow that was presented after the sun went down.
It's days like these that I know I wouldn't trade what I do for anything else in the world - I love being a part of weddings and creating memories for loved ones to enjoy for years to come. Enjoy the short video and link to pictures on our Facebook page and let me know what you think!

Here is footage from weddings I did on August 6th, 7th and 13th of this month. Wedding on August 6th was held at the Marriott North Harbour Courtyard in Portland, OR which was an outside ceremony and reception held on their patio. August 7th was at the Guthrie Park Community Center in Dallas, OR for an outside ceremony with indoor/outdoor reception and on August 13th I was back in Dallas for an outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception at BeckenRidge Vineyard. Updated Music Library and list of past DJ locations :-)

Two announcements - the Music Library by artist and title have been updated and has been a much needed update since it was last updated in February. Head over to the downloads page to look over all the music we have in our library, we are almost at the 23,000 mark!
Our second announcement is that over the past few years we have been able to DJ at 57 venues (possibly even more that we don't have records of as well) and will post this list in an upcoming blog post so stay tuned for that if you are interested in seeing where our DJ travels have took us
With Prom season underway here are the top 30 picks I've chosen for music that is clean and appropriate for high school Prom dances, these songs should hopefully sit well with the faculty members at school, however remember that as a DJ it's up to YOU to make the call on what is appropriate and good for the school.
