Quick update - since my last post I have had a lot of fun events happen that I got to DJ for. Along with a couple weddings, proms and private parties I was able to DJ for Nike and the launch of their Run Club in Eugene, OR and also played a few shows with my current band A Vision In Grey. To top it all off I recently got back from Disneyland with my wife Hannah for a much needed vacation (and was sort of our overdue honeymoon too!) and while it was fun to be in Disneyland and California Adventure for a few days enjoying the weather in Southern California I'm glad to be back home working on music!
Now to the meat and potatoes of this post - I am launching a new electronic music project which features original music, remixes and will also eventually contain DJ mixes available for streaming and download through Reverbnation. Here's some video footage I shot at a wedding in Portland, OR on September 10, 2011. I had a lot of fun working with David and Kelly, they blocked off their entire street which made their wedding unique in having a block party feel to it. The last hour of their wedding was around a 128 bpm electronic music set which the crowd absolutely loved and that kind of energy can't be expressed in words - just one of those things that you had to be present to experience for yourself and unfortunately I didn't get much footage from that last hour since I was having so much fun as a DJ!

Had the pleasure of providing sound and entertainment for a wedding yesterday on August 20th, 2011 at A Sanctuary at Washburn Heights in Brownsville, OR for Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Kelsey Horn. The ceremony and reception were both amazing and the weather was perfect, had a chance to use our new wireless lapel system and everyone had fun at the right moments along with tears at the right moments - especially during Kelsey's vows to Brian, all the special dances with family and Kelsey's father made a slideshow that was presented after the sun went down.

Wedding on August 6th was held at the Marriott North Harbour Courtyard in Portland, OR which was an outside ceremony and reception held on their patio. August 7th was at the Guthrie Park Community Center in Dallas, OR for an outside ceremony with indoor/outdoor reception and on August 13th I was back in Dallas for an outdoor ceremony and indoor/outdoor reception at BeckenRidge Vineyard. Last weekend I had the pleasure of once again spinning music and music videos for Riot in the 80's - Friday's weekly 80's night at Cloud 9 in Corvallis, OR on July 22nd. July 23rd I was hired to DJ a wedding at Elk Cove Vineyards in Gaston, OR and July 24th I was over in Salem, OR at the Zenith Vineyards where I did my first wedding sharing the stage with a mariachi band!
